A good news for all who have applied for Aadhaar card and have been waiting for long to receive it. You could have checked the status online already but of no use when your status says Aadhaar card has been generated and sent but you not receiving it yet.
Following steps shows how you can get it and keep it for your records even when you have already got it’s physical copy.
1). Make sure that you have your enrollment number and the date and time of enrollment with you in order to proceed for downloading the e-Aadhaar Card. These details can be found on the acknowledgement slip which you got from the enrollment center after enrolling for Aadhaar.
2). Go to the link https://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/
3). Fill in your details like Enrollment number/Aadhaar Number, date and time of enrollment, your name, your Pincode, the captcha code and Mobile Number in the respective fields.
4). Give your mobile number and Click 'Get One Time Password'. You will receive the OTP on your registered mobile.
5). Enter the OTP and click 'Validate & Download' and download the e-Aadhaar card.
6). For opening the e-Aadhaar card, you need to provide the Pincode, which you have given at the time of enrollment.
